We started the siding on the back wall and worked around both sides to the front where it all came together in the corner between the garage and the house. There are mill differences in the siding material, and variations in the 1" chink joint, our courses were within a 16th of an inch where they came together. We some lucky boys!!

Installing siding.

We are following the rock line to the first floor windows. The trim will be milled to cover the ends of the siding. It's a little more work, but will hide any shrinkage in the siding.............................................................................

Siding started today. It's 2x12 hewned with a 1 inch chink line.
That's 1/2 inch ply to fir out the window and corner trim.
